Recyclables should be clean and placed loose in your recycling cart. Please do not place items in plastic bags – the bags are not recyclable.
The following items are recyclable:
- Aluminum and Tin
- Empty Aerosol Cans
- Cardboard – please flatten all boxes and cut large ones down to a size that will fit in your cart.
- Plastics (#1 thru #7; leave plastic lids on their bottles)
- Paper (newspaper, magazines, junk mail, envelopes, chipboard, shredded paper). No need to remove paper clips, stamps, address labels, staples, tape, metal fasteners, rubber bands or plastic tabs.

Please note that most customers have every-other-week recycling and are assigned a RED or BLUE week for pick up. Customers in the City of Bellevue and certain SIDs are on a weekly recycling schedule. Your recycling schedule can be found on your personalized calendar in the WasteConnect app search results. The search box can be found on our home page or you can download the app.
